The details of the Crypterium-PAXNet partnership will be unveiled at the Blockchain Center of Korea on July 24 in a session presided by Crypterium COO and Co-Founder Austin Kimm.
After months of negotiations, Crypterium signed an agreement to launch a Joint Venture with PAXNet, a leading financial institution in South Korea that currently serves over 6 million users. The new enterprise – Crypterium Paxnet – will merge assets and skills of both sides to scale the adoption of crypto payments solutions in the Asian region.
“This partnership will bring together Crypterium’s world beating crypto-payment and crypto financial services with Paxnet’s local business leadership, community and understanding of the Korean business culture and of course access to the Korean financial services market. Together we have all the tools required to break through any barriers quickly and efficiently and ensure that we become the number one cryptocurrency services provider for the whole of the Republic of Korea,” says Crypterium co-founder Austin Kimm.
“Crypterium’s first global crypto card proved to be a huge success with over 15,000 orders made within a month after the launch. This product will be essential for our clients that want to buy, trade and exchange cryptocurrencies as well as use them in everyday life. We expect a huge synergy effect ,” adds PAXNet Chairman Kim Min Kyu.
With over 3 million active cryptocurrency users in Korea and a strong interest in the region, the company could distribute over 100,000 cards within a year after the launch, estimates Mr. Kimm.
Crypterium and PAXNet top managers will reveal the details of the agreement on July 24 during the Projects Fight Night, a major blockchain event where industry leaders gather to discuss the latest trends in the digital space.
