Crypterium has a global goal of giving its users a chance to pay with cryptocurrencies anywhere in the world, from local supermarkets and online stores to in-app payments and bills. Recently, we’ve told you about our strategic partnership with World Capacity Builders that will let 500 million EU citizens pay with crypto on a daily basis.
Last week, we took a critical step in a different yet very attractive direction, getting closer to opening up the Asian markets. Crypterium’s Advisory Board was joined by Hosni Emam, CEO of Global Payments Gateway, a company with a proven track record in establishing payment solutions for Union Pay, Alipay and WeChat across Asia (including China), Africa and the Middle East.
As the Managing partner of several international companies, Hosni was responsible for driving the companies strategic and business interests and ensuring that these companies remain the leaders in the industry.
Hosni also served as Principal Consultant at Guangzhou UnionPay Network Payment, a subsidiary of China UnionPay and China UMS, that specializes in online payment settlements and cross-border RMB settlement.
“Crypterium can bring a very advanced payment tool to Asia, where a lot of people own cryptocurrencies yet can’t use them in their everyday life. I am happy to join this team of world-class professionals to conquer the Asian markets together,” says Hosni.
“Hosni has been instrumental in helping UnionPay, AliPay and WeChat to roll out their services across Asia. His expertise can help us open up Asian markets in the nearest future,” says Austin Kimm, co-founder of Crypterium, mentioning that Asia is one of the most attractive markets for the company.
